December 29, 2011 6PM: COME CELEBRATE ONE YEAR OF CHARITYRevolution
while supporting AIDSProject RI & Youth Pride Inc.
The December installment of our Charity Series; CHARITY REVOLUTION will be our one year anniversary of hosting these great events. On this evening we will be supporting two great organizations: AIDSProject RI &Youth Pride, Inc.
AIDS Project RI was founded approximately 30 years ago as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative response to the needs of people infected, affected and at-risk of HIV/AIDS. Over the years, The Project accomplished this mission through leadership in prevention, education, supportive services and advocacy.
Youth Pride, Inc provides support, advocacy, and education for youth and young adults throughout Rhode Island who are impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
We will be asking for a $5 Donation from all participants when they enter and raffle tickets will be $5 a piece with all money collected going directly to the charity. We encourage our participants to bring their laptops in order to make this a truly social media experience. You will be able to mingle with local business owners on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and other applications and see how their businesses are using these services to bring in more customers. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi, in addition to light refreshments.
