Is A1 standard poster size
A1 poster format measures 594 x 841 and is the next largest poster size to A0 poster formats. These are at least 8 times larger than the standard A4 poster format and has enough design and text space for you to take advantage of. With their significantly large size, they make for great outdoor promotional materials.

Size A4 has its shortest edge (210mm) doubled to be the longest edge of A3 (420mm). A3 has its shortest edge (297mm) doubled to be the longest edge of A2 (594mm). And similarly up to A0.

From the taskbar. Search for and select printers and scanners. Select your printer. And then click printing preferences. Click the paper quality Tab and then click custom.
What DPI should I use for A1
300 dpi
Usually a minimum of 300 dpi is absolutely fine. Using a higher dpi is only required if you are doing large format printing such as A2, A1 A0 posters. For these larger posters or a high quality photos then you can use 400-500 dpi, but in most cases 300 dpi will suffice.
